Donations are accepted but not required.

Suggested donation:
Seniors 60+: $2.75
Seniors under 60: $4.50
This project is supported by "Older Americans Act" funds awarded by the County of San Diego through the Aging and Independence Services.

Educational, recreational, social services and appropriate referral services

FDSRC offers classes through the San Diego Community College District, and other activities, Monday through Friday.

The current offering includes:

• Basic Computer
• Chair Yoga
• Consumer Education
• Knitting & Crocheting
• Line Dancing
• Personal Development
• Quilting
• Retirement Living
• Social Issues
• Strength Training & Tai Chi
• Table Games
• Yoga

Numerous groups hold monthly meetings at the facility.
Current groups using the facility include the American Lung Association (Better Breathers Club), Foster Parents/Grandparents Group, and Breast Cancer Sisters Connection Group.

Special Events
FDSRC hosts several special events and parties throughout the year. Rooms at the facility are available to rent for special events and activities.
